About Qatar:
The Republic of Qatar consists of 8 municipalities located in the Middle East, on the borders with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Gulf, and with an area of 11,581 km2. It is the smallest country in the world. The country is characterized by its mostly desert and dry climate and desert terrain. The total population is 2.8 million, and its capital, Doha, is the most crowded among its cities. The culture of Qatar is dominated by ancient traditions influenced by Islam. It is characterized by a multinational and multicultural mix in most parts of the country, and Arabic is spoken among them as the official language. The official currency is the Qatari riyal, and the country has an open economy, with a gross domestic product of about $357 billion, which puts it at number 6 in the Gulf Union economically. Qatar is characterized by a variety of destinations, tourist attractions, cultural, natural and attractions spread across the country which is visited by more than 2 million tourists every year.
