    About Program

    Launched in 2020, under regulations S.L.188.05, the Maltese Citizenship by Naturalisation for Exceptional Services by Direct Investment grants Maltese citizenship through a certificate of naturalisation to foreign individuals and their families who contribute to the economic development of Malta.

    Who is eligible ?

    The regulations are addressed to reputable U/HNWIs and their families.  of highest reputation and status. Thus, strict Due Diligence checks are performed on each applicant to ensure only highly respectable clients are approved.

    Financial Requirements

    Investors wishing to obtain Maltese citizenship through the Naturalization for Exceptional Services by Direct Investment regulations are required to make all of the below investments to the Government of Malta:

    The real estate must be kept for a minimum period of 5 years following the investment. After that period.

    All applicants must be covered by a lifetime global health insurance of €50,000 minimum coverage. If such policy is not available to the applicant, Global can issue one from a local insurance company in Malta

    Where is Malta located?
    The Republic of Malta is a European Union country that is located in Southern Europe the Centre of the Mediterranean Sea. Malta is located about 288 km north from Tunisia and 93 km south of Italian island Sicily. With 300 sq. km area, Malta is one of the smallest and most densely populated island countries of the world. and an area of 316 km2 (122 sq mi) (185th rank in the World). Valletta is the capital city of the country. Malta has two official languages; Maltese and English whereby Maltese is being considered as the national language.

    Yes. The main applicants for Maltese citizenship may include a spouse, children under 18 years of age, financially dependent adult children under the age of 29, and parents and grandparents over the age of 55.

    No. Applicants for Maltese citizenship are not permitted to file such applications themselves due to the complexities involved in preparing all government-mandated application forms. Applications may only be submitted to THE Agency by a licensed agent.
