Based on Regulation 6(2) of the Aliens and Immigration Regulations, third country nationals and their qualified dependents can acquire Cyprus Permanent Residency, by investing in the country, provided the relevant conditions are satisfied.

What is the validity period of the residence card?
The residence card is valid for a period of 10 years.
Do holders of residency in Cyprus have permission to travel visa-free across Europe?
Yes, if you hold the Cyprus Golden Visa you are eligible to fly across Europe.
Can I sell the property and still have my residency card in Cyprus?
Whilst in principle this is true one needs to keep a property in Cyprus to keep the residency cards.
Will the Cyprus Permanent Residency automatically lead to Cyprus citizenship?
No. A beneficiary may however submit an application for the acquisition of Cypriot citizenship by naturalization after continuously residing in Cyprus for a minimum period of 7 years.
Can I include my family in my Cyprus residency application?
Yes. The main applicant can include dependents, such as a spouse, children under 18, and children between 18-25 if they are still enrolled as students and principally dependent on the main applicant.
When minor children under holding Cyprus Permanent Residency reach the age of 18, do they lose their Cyprus residence status?
No, but with certain requirements such as being enrolled as students and be fully dependent on the main applicant.
Do I have to travel to Cyprus during the application process?
