About Program
The Hungarian Guest Investor Visa (GIV) program is a newly implemented initiative
offering residency status to foreign investors and their families for up to ten years. The
program includes three distinct investment options, though currently, only the EUR
250,000 central bank-approved fund investment is available. The other options will
become operational later as outlined:
Benefits

Visa-free travel within all Europe Union and Schengen Zone

No Minimum Stay: Residency permits are renewable without physical presence requirements.

Family Inclusion: Spouse and dependent children under 18 can be included without additional investment.

Pathway to Citizenship: Eligible for Hungarian citizenship after maintaining continuous residency for eight years (requires physical relocation and meeting language requirements).

Residency cards issued within two months post-application submission.

Investment Return: For the EUR 250,000 fund option, the investment is redeemable after five years.
